The first leap.

24 Sep

We are in London now, waiting out a six hour layover for our connecting flight to Vienna. Sitting here surounded by duty free shops and exotic luxory brand name stores I finaly take a pause and appreciating the moment to reflect at the journey that started 6 months ago from San Francisco. We hired out a pick up truck and packed our bikes yesterday, got to the airport in a timely fashion and checked our luggage without any extra charge or much fuss, with big credit due to the friendly cyclist sympathist, Edward, at the Virgin Atlantic counter. So far I’ve had my corkscrew confiscated and lost my travel pillow somewhere deep within the labarynth of Heathrow.

confiscated your corkscrew? couldn´t your laptop create a sizable explosion if you got it hot enough?
