Our first stop; Strani, Czech Republic

25 Sep

We were greeted at the airport by Dave’s Grandfather, Grandmother, and Uncle.  We had to put together the bikes, which had been opened and left open by customs, in the airport parking lot because the big boxes could not fit in the car and had to be strapped on to the roof.  After our long flight, six hour lay-over and 2 hour flight to Vienna we had another 3 hour drive to Dave’s village.  We are staying at his grandparents house and they have been nothing but kind and generous to us.  We leave for Prague for a few days and then return to start our trip by bicycle.  Take a look at the photos of the past couple of  Days!
